Prof. Peizhou LI
Shandong University, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
Research Area:Porous materials
Brief introduction of your research experience:
Peizhou Li is now a professor in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shandong University, China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Applied Chemistry at Kobe University and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST, Kansai center) in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Qiang Xu. During his Ph.D. study, he was awarded JSPS Research Fellowships for Young Scientists by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) in 2010. After obtaining his Ph.D. degree, he joined in Prof. Yanli Zhao's research group as a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where his research mainly focused on the design and construction of nitrogen-rich porous materials for the application towards environmental fields. During this period, he once also joined in the project of “Singapore-Peking University Research Centre (SPURc) for a low carbon society” as a key researcher. Since November 2017, he joined in Shandong University, China as a full professor supported under the program of ‘‘Qilu Young Talent Scholar’’. So far, he has published more than 90 research papers, which are almost in high level journals including J. Am. Chem. Soc.,Angew. Chem.,Coord. Chem. Rev., Chem. Mater. and so on. Now, his research interests mainly focus on the design and construction of novel functional porous materials (porous silica, porous carbon, MOFs and COFs) and their applications in energy and environmental fields.
